Client
BOC is Australia’s leading gas and welding equipment supplier. For Australian Manufacturing Week 2025, BOC engaged ECHO events to handle end-to-end art and design direction and execution of its trade show stand.
This was a fully customised, 12x6m stand designed for maximum impact over the three days of the event. ECHO’s design team incorporated a mix of design and experiential factors to create not just an attractive stand but also an engaging customer experience.
For example, the client’s main focus was to showcase its latest machinery in a way that triggered attention and drew people into the stand. By utilising an open layout with strategic lighting, ECHO thoughtfully positioned products throughout the stand, leading customers on a curated journey that kept them engaged for longer.
Height and vertical presence were integral to the stand’s visual appeal. ECHO employed height-zoning techniques, placing branding and information panels at different eye levels to guide visitors and sustain interest throughout their visit.
Feature areas included a welding demonstration corner where visitors could watch live demonstrations with instant Q&A, a breakout area with ample furniture for industry networking, and free-standing information panels to enhance customer awareness and education. On top of all this, visitors loved the giant red helium balloon that identified the stand!
ECHO worked closely with BOC to ensure all content on signage and marketing collateral worked hard to boost education and conversion and reinforced the brand’s key messages. IMA B2B also completed the graphics for all the information panels.
