In October 2025, the inaugural Australian Manufacturing Awards took place at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Founded by Industry Update, one of Australia’s leading manufacturing magazines, the Awards shine a spotlight on the vital role manufacturing plays in the national economy. 

ECHO Corporate Events was responsible for end-to-end delivery of the awards event, overseeing all pre-event planning and same-day execution, including: 

Pre-event planning: 

• Management of ticketing function and coordinating RSVPs via a purpose-built ticketing platform 

• Creation of mood boards for venue theming and decoration ideation 

• Sourcing and coordination suppliers and brand elements, including the MC, red carpet, media wall, photo booth, centrepieces, entertainment and table décor  

• Event briefings for the MC, photographers and videographers 

• Development of a detailed and timed event run sheet, in collaboration with the in-house AV team 

Onsite event management: 

• Development of a comprehensive runsheet, including on-screen vision, speakers and entertainment 

• Side of stage management, coordinating sponsors, presenters and award winners for smooth transitions 

• Coordination of MC duties and entertainment (music duo) 

• Back-of-house management among event staff, hotel staff and on-site suppliers
